Yes! When you start creating a Style in the Style Studio, you can click on the Face FX and see the available Face FX
How do you know if a Style has Face FX?
A ghost icon will be on the bottom left-hand corner of the Style selection screen after you open a song or join the performance and before singing. Once you tap the up arrow, scroll to the setting with a square silhouette icon. If the Style you have chosen has Face FX, it will have the option to turn it ON or OFF.
What is the difference between the two new Style settings?
The Face FX setting allows you to turn the Face FX of a selected Style on or off, and the other setting changes between different Face FX options (ie. makeup, characters, sunglasses, etc.)
Can I change Face FX?
Yes, you can change Face FX both as a song opener, and when joining someone else’s performance, so you can each set your preferences separately. Just make sure to do so before recording, as you won’t be able to remove Face FX after you’ve recorded with them.
How do I change the Face FX?
Before starting a recording, tap the ‘up arrow’ under your selected Style icon, swipe to “Face FX”, and tap your preference of ON or OFF.
Can I change or remove the background of a Style?
No, you can’t remove the background of a Style, but you can change whether or not you want to use Face FX. Having the same background allows you to have visually cohesive duets and group performances with your Smule friends.
Am I able to create my own Style using Face FX?
