How do I get on the mic?
Tap the microphone icon at the bottom of the screen to show you’re available. Then wait for the mic to be passed to you.
What’s the difference between the lead and partner mics?
Not much. However, the person on the partner mic will hear a slight delay from the lead mic (i.e., the other person’s vocals). To help with this, whoever is on the partner mic should try singing to the music track instead of the other person’s vocals. This will help you stay in sync with the lead mic and create a better performance for your audience.
Who can hear me while I’m on the mic?
Everyone in the Live will be able to hear you.
Are Sing Live sessions moderated by an admin?
Yes. The person who starts a Live (the owner) has admin powers. They can remove people from the mic and ban users from the session. Owners may also delegate this power to other users.
Does an admin need to be present at all times?
Yes. If there’s no admin, the Live session will automatically end. If a Live owner needs to leave a session, they can keep it going by granting admin power to other users before leaving.
