What is a group?
A group is two or more people who share a common passion coming together to chat, create, and make a real, meaningful connection with each other.
Where can I find groups?
Currently, groups can be created by our users either on our site Smule.com or on the iOS
version of the Smule app. The feature on Android is still under development, and we’re tirelessly working to improve it. For Android, go to explore page and check the + sign. You cannot invite members to the group via Android (only via iOS or Smule.com)
How do I create a group?
To create a group:
– Navigate to the Explore tab in the iOS app or the home page of the website
– Scroll to the “Groups” section
– Tap “See All”
– Tap “+”
– Fill out the required fields and any optional ones that might be helpful to users who are going to join your group.
– Tap “Create”– and you are all set!
– At this point, your group has been created
– Invite members to your group
- Now that your group has been created, you will be presented with the option to invite users.
Who can create a group?
Anyone can create a group.
How many members can a group have?
A group can have up to 2000 members.
What are the privacy settings for a group?
All groups are public, meaning non-members can see the group page and its contents, however, they must be members in order to be able to create posts in the given group.
