Why does it keep saying "Recording too short" even when I record really long songs?
Something probably went wrong with your audio stream during launch. Just close the app and re-launch it, and the error should go away. In order to fully close the app, swipe up from the bottom of the screen on your device, and when the AutoRap app shows up, swipe upwards to close it.
I’m unable to invite anyone to join a Rap Battle. Help!
First, you need to grant AutoRap access to your contacts list, as all new battles are started via text message! If you denied access to your contacts, try to start a battle, and follow the instructions to re-enable contacts in your settings.
If you don’t HAVE any contacts, you can’t start a rap battle. So go make a contact, and battle them! :)
I sent a Rap Battle invite to one of my friends, and they’re unable to join.
Currently rap battles are only available on iOS, so if your friend has an Android phone they won’t be able to join your battle. Fortunately, Rap Battles are coming soon to Google Play. So tell your friend to stay tuned!
If your friend is on an iOS device and wasn’t able to join the battle, first make sure they’ve downloaded AutoRap from the App Store, AND updated to the latest version of AutoRap. Once they’ve done that, have them click the link in your battle invite text message again, and choose the “Open in App” option to join the Battle!
How do I remove my song from the Top Rappers screen? I only wanted to share my songs with my friends.
Go to your profile in the app, find the song you would like to have remove from Top Rappers, use a “swipe to the left” gesture on this song’s title to reveal the “Delete” button. Tap the “Delete” button once and then choose “Make Private”. This will set your song to private so only you and the people you share it with can listen to it. The song will also be removed from the Top Rappers screen.
