All charges for subscription purchases are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds for partially used subscription periods. We may make an exception for a subscription purchased either via Google Play or our website Smule.com, if a refund for a Smule subscription is requested within fourteen (14) days of the transaction date, and the VIP service has not been used in the app. Subscriptions purchased from iTunes cannot be refunded from us. See our Terms of Service for details.
Subscription through iTunes - iOS:
While we are unable to credit your subscription, you may contact Apple support to receive a refund. To start the process, go here and follow the below steps:
On a Computer:
- Go to iTunes on a computer
- Login with your Apple ID username (typically your email address) and password.
- Select the appropriate tab—all or apps.
- Find the purchase you want refunded.
- Select Report a Problem to the right of the purchase.
On a Mobile Device:
- Go to iTunes on your mobile.
- Login with your Apple ID username (typically your email address) and password.
- Click on your Apple ID
- Select Purchase History
- Find the transaction and tap Report a Problem
Subscription through Google Play - Android:
If you've subscribed to Smule using your Google Play Store account, there are two ways you can request a refund:
- If it’s been less than 48 hours since you were charged, you can request a refund directly from Google by following the instructions found here.
- If it's been more than 48 hours since you were charged and less than 7 days of the transaction date, please contact us with your Google Play order number or transaction ID. You can find this number in your Google Play email receipt or by logging in to payments.google.com. Example order numbers: GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567 or 1234567890123456. Additionally, please provide the email and username of your Smule account to verify.
If you are submitting a refund request to us, make sure that you have included a screenshot of the receipt containing the transaction ID for your purchase (e.g. GPA.1234-5678-9012-34567 for Google Play purchases)
Subscription through App Gallery - Huawei:
The subscriptions purchased through the App Gallery are managed through their systems. To cancel and request a refund for purchases through the App Gallery you would need to contact their support team.

Subscription through our website Smule.com:
If you have purchased a subscription directly via our website Smule.com less than 14 days ago and would like to receive a refund, please contact us directly via support@smule.com with the Transaction ID of your payment. The ID would have been sent to you via email upon completing your purchase and is easily recognizable as it starts with "112".
In case you are unable to locate your Transaction ID, please provide the following details instead, depending on the payment method that you used:
Credit/Debit card:
* the last 4 digits of the credit/debit card used for the purchase
* the date the payment was made on
* the exact amount of money deducted (including the currency)
PayPal:
* Your PayPal Subscription / Profile ID or your PayPal Transaction ID. The former usually has a hyphen in it and looks like this - “I-1ABC23XZCYE0”, while the latter looks like this - "5UA74869VH3322338"
* The date the payment was made on
* the exact amount of money deducted (including the currency)
